How to register your food business on GoBy β restaurants, home cooks, street vendors, and food trucks.
Listing your restaurant on GoBy opens your door to thousands of customers. The registration wizard is a 4-step process, followed by a 2-stage approval:

π STEP 1 β Business Type + Owner Account

Navigate to your franchise website and click "Register Your Business" or go to /business/register/.
You'll see the business type selection:
β’ π½οΈ Restaurant β Traditional restaurant or cafΓ© with a fixed location (select this)
β’ π Home Cook β Home-based food business
β’ π Street Vendor β Mobile food vendor or cart
Select "Restaurant", then fill in your owner account details:
β’ First Name & Last Name
β’ Email Address (this becomes your login credentials)
β’ Phone Number (with country code)
β’ Password (8+ characters with uppercase, lowercase, number, special character)

STEP 2 β Email Verification (OTP)

β’ A 6-digit OTP code is sent to your email after Step 1.
β’ Enter the code within 10 minutes.
β’ Up to 3 attempts per code.
β’ Google Sign-Up users skip this step automatically.
After verification, you are logged in and the form advances to Step 3.

This is where you describe your restaurant:
β’ Restaurant Name β Both Arabic and English names are supported
β’ Cuisine Type β Egyptian, American, Italian, Fast Food, Asian, etc.
β’ Branch Type β Select "Branch" for traditional physical restaurants
β’ Seating Capacity β Number of seats (for dine-in)
β’ Operating Hours β Your typical business hours
β’ Location β Set your restaurant's address on the interactive map
β’ Delivery Coverage Area β Define the zone you'll deliver to

π STEP 4 β Services, Documents + Terms

Select your service types:
β Delivery β Customers order and you deliver via GoBy drivers
β Pickup β Customers order online and pick up from your location
β Dine-In β Customers browse your menu and dine at your restaurant
Upload your business documents (region-specific):

Accept GoBy's Terms of Service and Merchant Agreement.

Your restaurant enters a 2-stage review process:
Stage 1 β Approval (24-48 hours):
The franchise admin reviews your basic info and grants dashboard access.
After Stage 1, you can:
β Log into the Business Dashboard
β Start building your menu
β Configure your settings
β NOT yet accept live orders
Stage 2 β Full Verification (varies):
Admin verifies your documents and confirms your business legitimacy.
After Stage 2, you can:
β Go online and accept orders
β Receive payments
β Full platform access
